Martin Röösli, Head of Environmental Exposures and Health at the Swiss TPH, Universität Basel

Martin is an international expert in environmental epidemiology with a background in atmospheric physics.  He has a strong background in air pollution exposure assessment as well as other complexly distributed environmental exposures.  Martin has strong skills in epidemiologic data analyses as a teacher of various courses in the PhD program of the Swiss School of Public Health.

As a PI of various cohort studies, he is well acquainted with complex longitudinal data.  He has been involved with the BILD cohort for several years, and was instrumental in optimising the exposure assessment of air pollution in pregnant women. He is also a co-supervisor of Dr. Jakob Usemann, MD, who is a PhD student on the study.
